artificial 人造的、人工的、虛偽的(adj.)
「art」作為字首是「人為」的意思,藝術(art)也是人類特有的文明。經過人為才發揮作用的就是人造、人工的;有人為的的意圖滲入表示虛偽的。An artificial heart and an artificial lake.

beneficial 有益的(adj.)
