英文單字(15)《port 運送》

港口(port)就是用來「運送」東西的。之所以不寫一個字的「運」，是因為這個動作具有方向性而加了一個「送」。「port」有幾個衍生字根據名詞及動詞的用法有不同的讀音，要特別注意，例如：export、import、disport。

port 港口(n.)

和「export」相反，往內運輸是進口的意思。這個字一樣有詞性讀音的差異。

disport oneself 娛樂(v.n.)

離港口較遠也就是較為都市的地方有比較多的娛樂場所。這個字不常用，多用在「自娛」，依詞性有不同讀音。

transport 運輸、運輸工具(n.)

運輸即從一個點運送至另外一個點的運送動作；運輸在英文也可以當成運輸工具的意思。
