排斥就是把對方關在外面;「exclude(不包括)」就是「include(包括)」的相反字。Women are excluded from this club.
Tom has been excluded from school for his behavior.
We can't exclude the possibility that he is dead.
This room is for exclusive use of guests.
The newspaper published an exclusive about the escape.
Before I conclude, I'd like to thank you all for coming.
The discussions continue late into the night, but nothing was concluded.
They had conclusive proof of her guilt.
She would seclude herself from the world forever.
seclusive 隱居的(adj.)
He is a seclusive gentleman.
preclude from 預防、防止(v.)
His contract preclude him from discussing his work with anyone outside the company.
This project should be inclusive of all department.
Our aim is to crate a fairer, more inclusive society.
Veins can get occluded by blood clots.
