spect是「看」的意思，衍生字的意思幾乎都和假想動作的情境有關，像是expect(往外看=期待)、suspect(視線往下打量=懷疑)、prospect(往前遠看=勘查)...等等

press的衍伸字，大多與「人」有關聯。例如depress(沮喪)、express(表達)、suppress(抑制)、repress(抑制)、impress(使留下印象)、oppress(折磨)。總之只要遇到press，就可以聯想到與人有關聯。
